YOKOSHIMA Toshihisa has directed a wide range of works including game promotional videos, opening sequences, for the “Dragon Quest” series as well as various music videos and commercials. In 2009, he made his directorial and screenwriting debut with his first original animation "Amanatsu." In 2017, he received the Satoshi Kon Award (short film) for Excellence in Animation at the Fantasia International Film Festival for "COCOLORS," which he also directed and wrote. Additionally, he won Animation Division Excellence Award at the 21st Japan Media Arts Festival.
