Sakaguchi (28), a woman who has just lost her job, is invited by her male friend Kitagawa (28) to interview for a part-time job in his hometown of Tobako (a fictional town/meaning of ten boxes). Sakaguchi, who has no motivation or merit, is somehow mistaken by Tano (34) of the public relations department for a young, talented "videographer," and is asked to shoot a PR video for the town and to do research for it. Sakaguchi is completely unmotivated and wants to go home and play with her cat, but as her walks around the town with Kitagawa, they begin to "research pretend”. While searching for Masuko (64), a prominent local figure, using a mysterious map given to them by Tano, Kitagawa disappears somewhere. Left all alone, Sakaguchi visits a house in the woods on the outskirts of town, where she easily encounters Masuko. Masuko, who imposes her good intentions on the young woman without malice, somehow forces her to wear a wedding dress. Sakaguchi meets a woman there, Yoshino (28), who is displeased to be forced to wear a dress matching Sakaguchi, and they hit it off. As she and Yoshino stroll down the same street that she walked with Kitagawa again, they are invited to a street party at a foundry, where they spend a delightful evening... Sakaguchi, who had been passed around town like a ghostleg lottery and never found a job, finds a new friend and leaves with the promise of seeing her again.
