Three high school students, fuelled by teenage angst, decide to form a band. Despite having two basses, a drum set, and zero music knowledge and training, their very first note completely floors them. With complete confidence, they turn their eyes to an upcoming rock festival.

DIRECTOR IN APPEARANCE
Born 4 March 1981, in Fussa, Tokyo, Iwaisawa Kenji studied under director Teruo Ishii. While learning live-action production techniques, he started venturing into animation as well.
He completed his first animation piece, “Man in the Tunnel Alley” in 2008. Currently, he continues to make short films – mainly animations – and began production of his feature-length animation film “ON-GAKU: Our Sound” in 2012.
