Kaori is a single mother, who was doing a great job at raising a loving daughter, till the young girl hit high-school and the dreaded rebellious phase. Futaba starts ignoring her mother and acting out. Frustrated at the change in her daughter, Kaori decides to take measures to communicate with Futaba in a unique way – she creates messages in her daughter’s bento meals, with a side of revenge. These bento messages slowly turn into a bridge between mother and daughter.

DIRECTOR IN APPEARANCE
Born in Gifu Prefecture in 1963, Renpei Tsukamoto’s illustrious directorial career includes works such as One Missed Call 2 (2004), 700 Days of Battle: Us vs. the Police (2008), Wig (2010), and Reon (2018), among many others. He also has extensive experience in television: Dragon Zakura (2005), Jikoukeisatsu (2006), Teinen Joshi (2017), Juuyou Sankounin Tantei (2017), among others.
In addition to TV dramas At Home Dad (2004) and Mother & Lover (2004), his latest work Bento Harassment will be his third collaboration with star actress Ryoko Shinohara.
